A birthday page for someone who has everything
Birthdays are the honest test of a gift, because the person usually does not need anything. What they notice is evidence that you were paying attention — the running joke, the terrible photo nobody deleted, the thing they did for you in March and have long since forgotten.
This is also the least romantic thing we make, and it should be. The birthday template ships written for a friend, with the affection kept dry. Change who it is for and the words change with it: for a mother it becomes plain and unguarded, for a partner it warms up, for a friend it stays funny.
What to write

For a close friend

How many photos should I use?
Six to eight is the sweet spot. Fewer than four feels thin, more than twelve stops being a gift and starts being an archive. Whichever you choose, put the best one first.
