Terms of service

These terms govern your use of fondtale.com, operated by Atul Kumar Singh. By making a page you agree to them.

Last updated 1 August 2026.

What you are buying

A personalised page, hosted at a link on our domain, for 1 year, renewable. The list price is ₹499, inclusive of GST, paid once. We sometimes run a lower launch or promotional price; the total shown at checkout before you pay is what you pay, and it is the amount any refund is calculated on.

We do not sell "lifetime" hosting and we ask you not to expect it. A company two years old cannot honestly promise forever. Your page stays up for 365 days from publication. We will email you before it expires so you can renew — it will not vanish without warning.

One exception, and it runs in your favour. A page made in memory of someone runs on the same 365 days as any other, but the renewal is free — we will email you as usual and there will be nothing to pay, for as long as you want to keep it. We are not willing to send a grieving family a bill to stop a memorial page being taken down.

The free tier

  • One template — the Love Note.
  • Your page stays up for 7 days, then expires.
  • It carries a small mark identifying where it was made.
  • No payment, no account, no card.

Your content

The photographs and words you put on a page remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them to whoever opens your link, for as long as the page is live.

You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload — that the photographs are yours or that you have permission from the people in them.

What you must not upload

You may not use this service for:

  • Any sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualises a minor. This is reported, not merely removed.
  • Intimate or explicit images of any person shared without their consent.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, defames or intimidates a person.
  • Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
  • Anything unlawful under Indian law, or content promoting unlawful acts.
  • Impersonating another person in a way intended to deceive.

Removal

If content breaches the section above we may remove the page. Where the breach is serious or unlawful we may remove it immediately and without notice; otherwise we will normally write to the email on the order first and give you a chance to correct it.

Anyone can report a page — there is a report link on every page, or write to hello@fondtale.com. We aim to review reports within 48 hours. If we remove a page in error we will restore it and extend its expiry by the time it was down.

Removal for a serious breach does not entitle you to a refund.

Your link

Your page lives at a slug on our domain, for example fondtale.com/atul-loves-neha. The slug is licensed to you for the life of the page; it is not property and it is not transferable.

We may reclaim a slug that impersonates a person or organisation, that is used abusively, or that was registered to deny it to someone with a legitimate claim. If we reclaim one we will move your page to another slug and tell you.

Deleting your page

Every paid page comes with a private management link, sent by email when the page is created. It lets you edit or permanently delete the page in one click, with no login and without contacting us.

We keep that deliberately frictionless. You should not have to explain yourself to a company at two in the morning.

That link is the only copy — we store only a one-way hash of it and cannot recover it. Keep the email.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, and third parties we depend on may have outages.

If a page you paid for is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, tell us and we will extend its expiry or refund it under the refund policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid us for the page in question.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects pages already published we will email the address on the order. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction.
